NATIONAL LEASING HOLDING AWARDS CONTRACT TO COMBINED GROUP CO. (FOR TRADING AND CONTRACTING) AT A VALUE OF QR. 1,045 Billion

 The National Leasing Holding Company (Q.SC.) announced the award for the Infrastructure Works at Lusail Northern Residential and West-Waterfront Areas (Al-Ijarah Plots) to the Combined Group Co.(For Trading & Contracting) LLC at a value of QR. One billion and 45 million riyals.

On this occasion, HE Sheikh Falah Bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of the company, stated: “We have awarded the contract for the Lusail Infrastructure Development (Al-Ijarah Plots) to Combined Group Trading & Contracting, at a value of Qatari Riyals One Billion and 45 Million through a public tender in which 35 local and international companies participated.   

Dr. Mohammad Asad Al-Emadi - Chief Executive Officer of National Leasing Holding Company stated the tender for the establishment of the infrastructure works for the residential plots in the city of Lusail represents the second phase of the project after the successful launch of the plot sales by the company, where most of the plots were sold. The biggest challenge for the company lies in the next stage - the implementation phase of the project where we have to effectively implement the project to the scope, specifications, time, budget and quality. He further explained that “this project is the result of for a sustained effort of eight months by the executive management of the Company and the Project Team in charge of the project, covering  a review of scope, standards and technical specifications of the project provided by Qatari Diar, the preparation of tender documents, the public tendering process, the technical and financial evaluation of the 35 bidders who participated in the tender, preparation of the contract documents, setting the project milestones and time-lines, and developing effective project control and quality systems for the implementation phase.
